Kirloskar Brothers Clinches Orders Worth INR2.1 Billion for Supply of Water Pumps

Kirloskar Brothers (NSE:KIRLOSBROS, BOM:500241) has secured orders worth 2.14 billion Indian rupees from Adani Power (NSE:ADANIPOWER, BOM:533096) and its subsidiaries, Anuppur Thermal Energy (MP), and Korba Power, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The contract is for the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of circulating water pumps using concrete volute pump technology, along with auxiliary cooling water pumps and associated electrical and control systems.

The pump packages will be deployed across thermal power projects in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar.

The project is expected to be executed within 18 to 24 months of the purchase order date. The payment will be made in phases, with 30 days from receipt of goods at the delivery point and the balance upon erection, commissioning, and testing.
