Shares of DMC Global plunged after the company reported a fourth-quarter loss and said it expects severe weather to dent its first-quarter results.
The stock fell 34% to $5.73 in midday Tuesday trading. The shares have slid 31% in the past year.
The oilfield services and equipment company reported a fourth-quarter loss of $11.2 million, or a loss of 59 cents a share.
Sales declined $143.5 million, missing Wall Street's forecast of $142.4 million, according to FactSet.
DMC Global expects first-quarter results will be hurt by severe weather across much of the U.S. affecting each of its businesses. The company sees first-quarter sales of $132 million to $138 million.
