Sen. Lindsey Graham, (R, S.C.) said he is bringing Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison as his guest to the State of the Union. The senator posted a photo of the two giving a thumbs-up on social media on Tuesday evening.

Ellison's Paramount has been in an ongoing bidding competition with Netflix to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, and Paramount recently sweetened its offer. Ellison-the son of Oracle co-founder and former CEO Larry Ellison, who is an ally of President Trump-has cultivated close ties with the Trump administration as he tries to take over the storied Hollywood studio. The Justice Department is looking into whether Netflix has engaged in anticompetitive practices, The Wall Street Journal has reported, and reviewing Paramount's proposed acquisition.
