ACV Auctions Shares Fall on Disappointing Outlook

Shares of ACV Auctions shares were lower after the company's adjusted earnings outlook came in below Wall Street projections.

The stock slid 15% to $4.82 on Tuesday, at one point touching a 52-week low of $4.61. Shares have lost 71% of their value over the past 12 months.

The car auction marketplace said it expects adjusted net income to be $5 million to $7 million in the current first quarter, while analysts are anticipating just over $7 million.

For the full year, the company guided for $31 million to $35 million, below the $42.3 million Wall Street is estimating.
