U.S. Stocks to Watch: Netflix, Paramount, Block, Dell and More

Paramount Skydance $(PSKY)$: The David Ellison-led company emerged victorious in the fight to buy Warner Bros. Discovery $(WBD)$, after Netflix $(NFLX)$ said it wouldn't match Paramount's latest offer. Both Netflix and Paramount shares rallied more than 7% in premarket trading. Warner shares dropped around 2.5%.

Dell $(DELL)$: The technology company reported a 39% leap in quarterly sales, boosted by its artificial-intelligence server business. Shares jumped 13% ahead of the open.

Block (XYZ): The payments company that includes Square and Cash App plans to lay off 40% of its workforce, or more than 4,000 employees. Shares surged one-fifth premarket.

Compass $(COMP)$: Redfin will display information about Compass's private home listings on its website, offering buyers a first chance to view them on a major real-estate portal. Shares dropped 2% in off-hours trading.

Intuit $(INTU)$: Quarterly profit guidance from the company behind TurboTax and Credit Karma missed expectations. Shares fell 4% ahead of the open.

MP Materials (MP): The rare-earth minerals producer posted lower-than-expected revenue following its decision to cease sales to China as part of its U.S. agreement.
