The German reinsurer posted a property and casualty normalized undiscounted combined in line with expectations but added to its reserves in this division, analyst Darius Satkauskas writes in a research note. He adds that there was a reassuring positive variance in its life and health unit but that renewals look weak. The operating level beat came from the net financial result, he notes.
