HCP Plastene Bulkpack (BOM:526717) commenced commercial operations at its new production facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, on Wednesday, according to a same-day bourse filing.
Shares of the company rose over 4% in Thursday's trade.
The unit will manufacture and dispatch flexible intermediate bulk containers made from woven polypropylene fabric, with or without polyethylene liners, as stated in the filing.
The company invested roughly 30 million rupees into the facility, which has an installed capacity of 300 metric tons per month.
