1621 ET - Keurig Dr Pepper is closely monitoring whether new restrictions on food stamps will hurt its soda business. Earlier this year states began rolling out restrictions for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, recipients, disallowing them to buy items like sodas and candy, with specific rules varying by state. "As you can imagine we are looking at that dynamic very closely, including a state-by-state analysis that I actually review with our teams every other week," said KDP chief executive Tim Cofer, who helms the company that sells Dr Pepper, 7UP and Canada Dry sodas.
