HCL Technologies (NSE:HCLTECH, BOM:532281) said three of its radio access network automation applications (rApps) have been listed in the rApp Directory of Ericsson for use on the Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform (EIAP), according to a Tuesday release filed with the Indian bourses.
Shares of HCL Technologies fell around 1% in Wednesday's trade.
The listed tools include a Traffic Balancer application to optimize network load distribution, an Energy Optimizer designed to adjust base station capacity during low-traffic periods, and a Network Slice Optimizer that manages allocation of resources across multiple 5G slices with varying service requirements, the company said in the release.
