MongoDB $(MDB)$: The database company posted better-than-expected financial results, but gave soft guidance for this quarter, triggering further concerns that artificial intelligence could upend its business. Shares slid by almost one-quarter premarket.
Credo Technology $(CRDO)$: The data-center connectivity company posted better-than-projected adjusted earnings, while revenue more than tripled. However, its guidance for this quarter disappointed. Shares dropped 8% in off-hours trading.
AutoZone $(AZO)$, Best Buy $(BBY)$, Target (TGT), Singaporean technology conglomerate Sea (SE) and Swiss sneaker maker On $(ONON)$ are among the companies due to report earnings early Tuesday.
SoftBank (JP:9984): The tech investor's PayPay payments app is targeting a valuation of up to $13.4 billion in an initial public offering. The move could bolster the Japanese group's coffers as it pours billions into artificial intelligence. However, shares fell 1.3% in Tokyo.
Apple $(AAPL)$: Tuesday is the second day of Apple's product event. On Monday, it unveiled the budget-focused iPhone 17e and an upgraded iPad Air.
