Ginkgo Bioworks (DNA) said Monday it has launched Ginkgo Cloud Lab, a web browser interface that provides researchers with remote access to its autonomous lab infrastructure.
The company said the new interface provides access to more than 70 instruments intended for critical biological unit operations, such as sample preparation, liquid handling and analytical readouts.
Scientists can now visit the website to submit their specific protocols for development on Ginkgo's Cloud Lab, the company said.
Shares of Ginkgo Bioworks were down 3% pre-bell.
