0456 GMT - ST Engineering's earnings visibility seems to be improving, RHB Research's Shekhar Jaiswal says in a research report. The technology, defence and engineering group's commercial aerospace business is a near-term driver, the analyst says. As aircraft delivery backlogs keep older fleets flying for longer, the maintenance, repair and overhaul of airframes, components and engines should be sustained. Its defence & public security business should also remain a structural growth pillar, supported by the Middle East conflict and the push to rebuild military readiness across Europe and parts of Asia. RHB Research increases its 2026-2027 profit estimates for ST Engineering by 2% and raises the stock's target price to S$11.70 from S$10.70 with an unchanged buy rating. Shares are 6.5% higher at S$10.92. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
