Nvidia (NVDA), Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), and Amazon (AMZN) are halting their Middle East workplaces to ensure staff safety following recent US-Israel strikes, CNBC reported Tuesday, citing an internal Nvidia email, sources within Google, and an Amazon spokesperson.

The chipmaker temporarily closed its Dubai locations to implement remote work policies while its crisis management team supports affected staff, including roughly 6,000 workers in Israel, who are all reportedly safe, the news outlet reported, citing a staff memo from Chief Executive Jensen Huang.

Tens of Alphabet's Google employees currently remain stranded in Dubai following a sales conference due to widespread flight disruptions, CNBC reported, citing unnamed sources.

Amazon instructed all its corporate personnel in the area to work from home and adhere to local government guidance, the news network quoted a spokesperson as saying.

Nvidia, Alphabet, and Amazon did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
