SKY Perfect JSAT February Net Adds at 27,266

SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings (TYO:9412) said total SKY PerfecTV! subscribers rose by a net 27,266 in February to 2.4 million, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Gross additions stood at 73,832, while churn was 46,566, for a monthly churn rate of 1.9%.

The core SKY PerfecTV! service added 29,937 net subscribers to reach 1.8 million, while the Premium Service posted a net loss of 2,671, ending the month at 593,023.

Optical fiber-based retransmission services recorded a net increase of 11,083 subscribing households, bringing the total to 3 million.
