1016 GMT - For investors looking at the long term, U.S. Treasurys and safe-haven currencies are attractive amid an uncertain geopolitical outlook, Janus Henderson Investors' Adam Hetts says in a note. Janus Henderson Investors advocates taking a long-term view to investing rather than reacting to near-term volatility, such as those sparked currently by strikes by the U.S. and Israel on Iran. In a prolonged period of uncertainty, increases in oil prices could generate a global inflationary scare, says Hetts, who is global head of multi-asset. It may in turn reduce the likelihood of interest-rate cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve, he says.(emese.bartha@wsj.com)
