Henan Tong-Da Cable (SHE:002560) said it became the preliminary winning bidder for 151.3 million yuan worth of materials in China Southern Power Grid's bid, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Shenzhen bourse.
The materials included steel-core aluminum stranded wires and aluminum-clad steel-core aluminum stranded wires, both 20-kilovolt and below. The bid also included insulated overhead cable and 10kV copper-core XLPE insulated power cables.
The Chinese wire maker's shares fell over 3% during the afternoon trade.
