CMC Magnetics (TPE:2323) acquired 170,000 shares of Phison Electronics for NT$306.5 million, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The shares were bought at an average price of NT$1,803, between March 2 and March 3, the optical data storage media manufacturer said.
Following the purchase, CMC Magnetics holds a 0.25% stake in Phison Electronics,
The acquisition was made for portfolio management purposes, the company said.
