AI Seen Driving Demand for Guidewire's Core System Modernization -- Market Talk

Dow Jones03-07

1143 ET - J.P. Morgan sees Guidewire Software well-positioned for sustained growth, driven by accelerating cloud migrations and strong structural durability. The AI pivot is driving a spike in demand for Guidewire's core system modernization as businesses find their older mainframe systems cannot support AI-driven workflows. J.P. Morgan analysts are encouraged by accelerating annual subscription based sales. Guidewire customers are committing to larger deals with longer durations, with weighted average contract terms exceeding six years compared to the standard five. In the past five years, the analysts say Guidewire hasn't lost a single customer with over $1 million annual recurring revenue to a competitor. Guidewire shares rise 3.8%. (amira.mckee@wsj.com)
