Breton Technology Awards Civil Engineering for Solar Project in DRC

Breton Technology (HKG:1333) said it awarded a $17.1 million contract to Ste De Developpement Du Commerce Et De Construction involving the Ruashi microgrid project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Thursday.

Shares of the battery-electric engineering firm gained over 2% in morning trade Friday.

Under the agreement, Ste De Developpement will provide civil engineering and installation works for the construction of the microgrid project which involves a 118 megawatt solar power plant and a 330 megawatt-hour energy storage facility.
