Technology company Cyient (NSE:CYIENT, BOM:532175) has begun liquidation of its joint venture company Infotech HAL following an order from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in India, according to a filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The NCLT has appointed Vasudevan Gopu as the liquidator for the liquidation process.

Infotech HAL is a 50:50 joint venture between Cyient and Hindustan Aeronautics (NSE:HAL, BOM:541154) formed in 2007 to provide aerospace design services.
