Sector Update: Consumer Stocks Decline Pre-Bell Thursday

Consumer stocks were declining pre-bell Thursday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) and State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) down 0.6%.

JD.com (JD) shares were down more than 2% after the company reported a decline in Q4 non-GAAP net income.

Burlington Stores (BURL) stock was up more than 6% after the company posted higher fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings and revenue.

BJ's Wholesale Club Holdings (BJ) shares were down more than 4% after the company issued fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings per share outlook below analysts' expectations.
