Resolute Mining (ASX:RSG) said its total mineral resources increased 60% to 17.6 million ounces of gold following the acquisition of the Doropo and ABC projects in the Ivory Coast and exploration success at Bantaco in Senegal and La Debo in the Ivory Coast, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company said total ore reserves increased 55% to 6.8 million ounces of gold, with the addition of reserves at Doropo and Tomboronkoto in Senegal offsetting mining depletion in Mali and Senegal.
Resolute said its 2026 group exploration budget is between $15 million and $25 million, with a focus on expanding resources at the Doropo Project, the ABC Project, and La Debo in the Ivory Coast.
The program will also test drill targets on the Laminia and Sangola permits in Senegal, conduct deeper drilling at Syama North in Mali, and restart exploration activities in Guinea, per the filing.
The company's shares were down almost 2% in recent Thursday trade.
