Meta Platforms (META) recruited the engineering staff from Atma Sciences responsible for the Gizmo application, Business Insider reported Friday, citing a company representative.
The startup was established by former Snapchat (SNAP) employees to allow users to generate interactive content such as mini-games through AI prompts, the news outlet reported.
The technology giant secured a non-exclusive license for the software as part of the transaction, though specific financial terms were not disclosed, Business Insider reported.
The acquired personnel will reportedly join the social media firm's Superintelligence Labs unit.
Meta Platforms and Atma Sciences did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
