KKR to Acquire Stake in Renewable Energy Firm SK Eternix

KKR (KKR) has agreed to acquire a 31% equity interest in South Korean renewable energy firm SK Eternix for 248 billion Korean won ($167 million), SK Discovery said Friday.

SK Discovery said it is selling its entire stake in SK Eternix to Eclipse Holdco, a fund owned by KKR.

Local private equity firm Hahn & Co. is also selling its 12.5% stake in SK Eternix to KKR as part of the deal, bringing the total value for the combined 43.5% stake to 348 billion won, Bloomberg reported Friday.

KKR and Hahn & Co. did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
