DraftKings' Predictions Market Product Will Focus on Sports -- Market Talk

1226 ET - DraftKings is primarily focused on keeping its prediction markets product focused on sporting events, Chief Executive Jason Robins says. Sports events have higher trading volumes than other cultural and political events, making them a more lucrative opportunity, Robins says. DraftKings plans to also have trading on elections and cultural events like awards shows, but that won't be the focus. He also wants to steer clear of trading on controversial topics, like deaths and war. "I'm guessing that some of these markets are going to end up getting limitations placed on them," he says.
