Pan American Silver (PAAS) said Thursday it has discovered at least four new veins following exploration drilling at the La Colorada mine in Zacatecas, Mexico.
The company said drilling identified new veins with associated mineralization having wide intercepts of high silver, gold, and base-metal grades.
Pan American said silver assays exceeded 1,000 grams per tonne in 40% of the reported drill holes.
Additionally, the company said an infill and extension drilling campaign is underway to expand and define the mineralized zone.
