TVS Supply Chain Solutions (NSE:TVSSCS, BOM:543965) said it is setting up a 40,000 sq. ft. warehousing facility at a Free Trade and Warehousing Zone in Mannur near Chennai to support the global supply chain of Caterpillar, according to a Tuesday filing.
The facility will handle parts procurement from different countries and support manufacturing operations of Caterpillar, the filing said. With around 4,000 pallet positions, the warehouse is expected to help improve lead times and supply chain efficiency, it added.
