Keysight Technologies (KEYS) and Salience Labs said Thursday they have entered into a partnership to develop an optical circuit switch testing environment.

The partnership, which combines Salience Labs silicon photonics-based optical switching platform with Keysight's testing technology, will supply data centers with advanced research on optical switch technology and solutions to handle growing artificial intelligence workloads, the companies said.

All-optical switch products decrease network delays and support end-user performance across multiple racks, according to the companies.
