Williams-Sonoma Seen Outperforming Slower Category Despite Tariff Pressure, RBC Says

MT Newswires Live03-12

Williams-Sonoma (WSM) is expected to outperform a slowing home furnishings category in fiscal Q4, though results could face a meaningfully higher tariff impact sequentially, RBC Capital Markets said in a Thursday note.

The brokerage said that while Williams-Sonoma has consistently made market share gains, its category appears to have slowed over the last few months due to rising inflation.

RBC said that the company's home improvement and home furnishing peers have indicated a largely unchanged housing environment with no clear near-term catalysts to drive improvements.

The company is expected to provide 2026 comparable sales growth guidance in the low-single-digit to mid-single-digit range, analysts said.

RBC has an outperform rating on the stock and a $206 price target.
