Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic said Tuesday it plans to open an office in Sydney to meet demand from businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
The new office will initially focus on supporting enterprise, startup, and research customers, the company said.
Additionally, Anthropic said it is exploring options to expand compute capacity in Australia through third-party partners, citing demand from enterprises and government agencies.
