Cineplex box office revenue fell in February.

The Canadian movie-theater chain on Wednesday said that box office revenue fell to 32.4 million Canadian dollars ($23.9 million), which was 93% of last year's February box office revenue.

Cineplex said its February performance was led by Wuthering Heights, GOAT and Send Help, but noted that the month lacked a major blockbuster comparable to last year's record-breaking releases Ne Zha 2 and Chhaava.

In January, revenue was higher, at C$42.6 million, compared with C$37.5 million a year earlier, it said.
