BTQ Technologies Receives Australian Government Backing for Quantum Compute-in-Memory Chip

BTQ Technologies (BTQ) said Monday has been awarded support through the Australian government's Industry Growth Program Advisory Service to speed up development and commercial sales of its Quantum Compute-in-Memory chip.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The chip is a secure processor designed to deliver both classical and post-quantum cryptography, the company said.

The government's initiative backs companies developing new technologies, the company added.
