St George Mining (ASX:SGQ) has found more high-grade rare earth and niobium mineralization at surface at its Araxá project in Brazil, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The miner's latest batch of assays from 16 diamond drill holes indicate high-grade mineralization of up to 24% total rare earth oxides (TREO) and 5% niobium pentoxide (Nb₂O₅) by weight.
"These results give confidence that another material resource upgrade will be delivered in due course," said executive chairman John Prineas.
