Morningstar Launches AI Assistant for Advisors

Morningstar (MORN) said Monday it embedded an artificial intelligence assistant into its Direct Advisory Suite to unify investment research and portfolio analysis to support advisors in offering guidance to clients.

The assistant can identify rating changes, create meeting briefs, support research, and analyze client statements to generate actionable proposals, the company said.

The AI assistant is available to select US-based suite users., with broader availability expected in the US and Canada throughout 2026, according to a statement.
