Wynn Resorts UAE Expansion at Risk From Iran Conflict -- Market Talk

Dow Jones03-10

1400 ET - Wynn Resorts' expansion in the United Arab Emirates is at risk due to the conflict in Iran, Gimme Credit analyst Kim Noland says. The escalation of the conflict has implications for Wynn's project in the UAE, Wynn Al Marjan, Noland says. The project was nearing the end of construction and was on schedule to open in spring 2027, Noland says. Wynn's expansion in UAE marks important geographical diversification for Wynn in an area where tourism is increasing, she says. Wynn informed employees they could work remotely after the State Department urged people to leave 14 Middle Eastern countries, Noland notes. Shares decline 2.6%. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
