Thai Equities Likely to Remain Volatile -- Market Talk
Dow Jones03-09
0817 GMT - Thai equities are likely to remain volatile in the near term, DBS Group Research analysts write in a report. Global risk sentiment continues to be dominated by geopolitical developments, particularly the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Oil prices could stay elevated and trigger periodic risk-off periods in global markets, which typically lead to capital outflows from emerging markets, including Thailand. DBS maintains its end-2026 SET Index target at 1500. The SET Index is 3.0% lower at 1367.58. (amanda.lee@wsj.com)
