Reliance (RS) said Tuesday that its unit AMI Metals has been awarded two contracts for US government infrastructure and defense projects.

AMI received a multi-year contract from the US Department of Homeland Security for up to $2.24 billion to provide steel and steel logistics support services for construction of the border wall along the Southwest US border, Reliance said.

The contract covers the procurement, transportation, warehousing and distribution of steel bollards and steel plates, with deliveries expected to begin in Q2. The contract runs until Dec. 31, 2028, Reliance said.

AMI was also awarded a five-year contract for up to $654 million to process aluminum plate for Lockheed Martin (LMT) platforms, including the F-35 Lightning II program, Reliance said.

The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity agreement runs from Jan. 1, 2027 through Dec. 31, 2028, with up to three one-year extensions.

Reliance said its previously announced financial outlook for Q1 remains unchanged.
