March 10 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase JPM.N hired Firdaus Pohowalla as a managing director to strengthen the firm's North America mid‑cap mergers and acquisitions team, according to an internal memo reviewed by Reuters.
THE CONTEXT
Pohowalla will join a growing team of more than 250 bankers dedicated to mid-sized companies and investors.
EXPERIENCE
Pohowalla has nearly 30 years of experience advising clients across industrial automation, supply‑chain technology and capital‑goods sectors.
He most recently led investment‑banking coverage for industrial and supply‑chain technology at Cascadia Capital, spanning hardware, software and services.
Prior to that, he held senior roles at Barclays and UBS, where he developed and led coverage efforts across multiple Diversified Industries sub‑sectors.
He will be based in Seattle and report jointly to Andrew Castaldo and Andrew Martin, co‑heads of North America mid‑cap M&A, according to the memo
