0548 GMT - XPeng will likely continue to refine its intelligent-driving stack, Bernstein analysts write in a note. Beyond technical improvements, the company will need to invest in consumer education and brand building to strengthen its position in the intelligent-driving space, they add. The analysts note that the Chinese EV maker's advanced autonomous-driving system alone is unlikely to drive vehicle-purchase decisions, as buyers ultimately consider a combination of factors, including price, build quality and driving experience. But XPeng's new VLA 2.0 system could serve as a differentiator for the brand, they say. The advanced autonomous-driving feature may give the company a slight competitive edge in the highly competitive auto market, Bernstein says. (jiahui.huang@wsj.com; @ivy_jiahuihuang)
