HSBC Holdings Issues $8 Billion Worth of Notes

HSBC Holdings (HKG:0005) issued $8.00 billion worth of notes, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.

The firm issued $2.00 billion in 4.398% fixed rate/floating senior unsecured notes due 2030; $2 billion in 4.675% fixed rate/floating senior unsecured notes due 2032; $2.75 billion in 5.279% fixed rate/floating senior unsecured notes due 2037; and $1.25 billion fixed rate/floating senior unsecured notes due 2032.

The lender will apply to list the notes on the New York Stock Exchange, the filing said.
