U.S. Natural Gas Futures Lower -- Market Talk

Dow Jones03-13 22:06

1006 ET - U.S. natural gas futures are lower with light weather-driven demand expected over the weekend, picking up somewhat into next week. The market continues to watch the war in the Middle East and demand for LNG given loss of supply out of the Persian Gulf. Volatile trade is likely ahead of the weekend due to the uncertainty around the conflict, NatGasWeather.com says in a note. "There could be breaking news that could result in a large gap higher/lower at the Sunday reopen." Nymex natural gas is down 2.4% at $3.154/mmBtu.(anthony.harrup@wsj.com)
