Stocks traded higher Friday as oil prices declined and the latest personal consumption expenditures price index data showed inflation ran slightly hot in February.

These stocks were making moves:

Adobe slumped 5.2% as better-than-expected earnings for the fiscal first-quarter were overshadowed by the resignation of the software company's long-time CEO, Shantanu Narayen. The 28-year company veteran, who spent 18 of those years in the top role, will stay on as board chair to support Adobe's new chief executive.

Micron Technology jumped 5.1%. The stock received a flurry of supportive commentary from analysts ahead of the chip maker's fiscal second-quarter earnings on March 18. Fellow memory-chip and storage-device makers Western Digital, Seagate Technology, and Sandisk were also leading the S&P 500, rising 6%, 4.7%, and 4.1%, respectively.

Coinbase Global climbed 3.7% following the price of Bitcoin upwards. Bitcoin has risen 4% to $73,275 over the past 24 hours, according to CoinDesk data.

Tesla inched up 0.9%. The electric-vehicle company was shrugging off announcements from its rivals as Rivian Automotive unveiled pricing and specifications for its long-awaited R2 platform, and Lucid Group said at an investor day that its new midsize-vehicle platform will include three models and it introduced a robo-taxi concept.

Ulta Beauty sank 9.5% after the cosmetics and fragrances retailer guided for growth to slow this fiscal year, even after its fourth-quarter sales came in ahead of expectations.

SentinelOne reversed earlier losses and added 1.8%. The cybersecurity company reported a 20% jump in revenue but posted a steeper loss in the fourth quarter and its first-quarter guidance underwhelmed the market.

Insulet tumbled 3.4%. The insulin pump maker said it initiated a voluntary medical device correction for certain lots of Omnipod 5 Pods after identifying a manufacturing issue. "Certain Pods from specific lots may have a small tear in the internal tubing that delivers insulin. If this occurs, insulin may leak inside the Pod instead of being fully infused into the body as intended," Insulet said in a statement.

Fertilizer stocks, which have benefited from shipping disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, were falling. Mosaic Co. slid 4.3%, CF slumped 8%, and Nutrien fell 0.3% to $83.67 even after Wells Fargo upgraded the stock to Overweight from Equal Weight with a $100 price target, up from $77.
