Berkshire Hathaway Awards Greg Abel $22 Million in Compensation in 2025

Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) said Friday it awarded Gregory Abel roughly $22 million in compensation in 2025 as he prepared to take over the chief executive role from Warren Buffett.

Abel replaced Buffett as CEO Jan. 1 following eight years as a vice chairman.

Berkshire's other vice chairman, Ajit Jain, was also awarded $22 million last year, the company said in a Friday regulatory filing.
