Southern Cross Gold (ASX:SX2) said it found high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Sunday Creek gold-antimony project's Apollo prospect in Victoria, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to four meters at 4.8 grams per tonne grade of gold equivalent, comprising 4 g/t gold and 0.3% antimony, from 128.6 meters, including 0.4 meters at 31.4 g/t gold equivalent, comprising 26.6 g/t gold and 2.0% antimony, from 129.6 meters.
The company said that the Apollo prospect is delivering mineralization from every direction, with high antimony tenor near the surface and new vein sets appearing.
