CITIC Securities (SHA:600030, HKG:6030) subsidiary CSIMTN issued $9.8 million in debt under a medium-term debt program, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The listed company is the guarantor of the issuance. The issuance will help boost CITIC's working capital, the filing said.
Shares rose 2% in Hong Kong during afternoon trading on Monday.
