0938 GMT - UniCredit doesn't expect many Commerzbank shareholders to tender their shares to the Italian bank's offer, but the bid could be revised to win full control, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analysts say in a research note. "Our view is that [UniCredit CEO Andrea] Orcel's wish is to get full control of [Commerzbank], so could revise the offer further but only if it creates value for [UniCredit], and the German government doesn't necessarily need to sell or give up their board seats," the analysts say. Once this offer ends, UniCredit would be able to buy more Commerzbank shares on the open market or launch other offers, KBW says. Commerzbank shares rise 4.1%, while UniCredit's fall 2.4%.
