Stocks to Watch Monday: Nvidia, Meta, UniCredit -- WSJ

Nvidia (NVDA): Chief Executive Jensen Huang is scheduled to kick off the chip maker's artificial intelligence summit with a speech at 2 p.m. ET. The stock ticked higher premarket.

Meta $(META)$: Shares in the social-media company jumped 3% premarket after Reuters reported that the company is planning sweeping layoffs.

Commerzbank (XE:CBK); UniCredit (IT:UCG): Shares in Commerzbank rose 4% after its larger Italian peer UniCredit said it is launching an offer to increase its stake in the German lender. UniCredit shares dipped.

Micron Technology $(MU)$: The memory-chip maker said it completed the previously announced acquisition of a PSMC production site in Taiwan. Shares were up premarket.

Exxon Mobil (XOM); Chevron $(CVX)$; BP $(BP)$; Shell $(SHEL)$: Shares in oil producers are edging higher as oil prices remain above $100 a barrel and conflict in the Middle East extends into a third week. BP and Shell were up 1% in Europe; Exxon and Chevron ticked up premarket.
