Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (SHA:600004) signed an operating cooperation contract with China Tourism Group Duty Free (HKG:1880, SHA:601888), according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
Under the deal, the airport company will grant the duty-free retailer the rights to operate in certain areas in the T2 Terminal outbound, excluding areas in the East Concourse 4 and 6 if international operations are not restored there.
The contract is valid for 10 years.
China Tourism Group Duty Free's Hong Kong shares slipped over 1% during the midday trade.
