Auckland International Airport's Total Passenger Movements Up 5% in February

Auckland International Airport (NZE:AIA, ASX:AIA) recorded 1.6 million passenger movements in February, up 5% year on year, according to a Monday filing with the New Zealand and Australian bourses.

Total passenger movements for the financial year to date reached 13 million in February, marking a 2% year-on-year increase, per the filing.

Total international passenger movements rose 3% to 873,163, the filing added.

Excluding transits, international passenger movements increased by 4%. International seat capacity grew 4%, resulting in average load factors of 83%, a 0.2 percentage-point decrease year on year, the company said.

Domestic passenger movements rose 7% to 739,295.
