Autoliv, Yamaha Motor Jointly Develop Airbag for Scooter

Autoliv (ALV) said Thursday it has collaborated with Yamaha Motor to jointly develop an airbag system for the Tricity 300 commuter scooter.

The airbag is designed to absorb the rider's kinetic energy in the event of a frontal collision, while maintaining vehicle balance and storage space, the company said.

The updated scooter is expected to be available in H1, Autoliv said.
